You Warm My Heart

It's a good day for another My Favorite Things creation - don't you think?

I am definitely stuck on these cuties and today I have inked up one of the new Doodle Garden MFT Stamps called I'm Raptor Round Your Finger.

I used this weeks MFT sketch and followed along pretty well.

The little "Raptor" was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with my copics, following along with Michele Boyer's tutorial in the MFT Academy regarding texture using pointillism with Copic markers. I knew this was a technique but I had never heard of the proper name.

The Die-namics Layered Heart border was the perfect border to use and I added a white "shadow" heart border too!

Thanks for visiting today!

Whoo Loves You?

I do!!....

This MFT Pure Innocence Owl Costume is not just for Hallowe'en of course.....I have made it into a lovey card today....

Following the latest MFT sketch - MFTWSC120 (My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Club 120 in case you didn't know....) I created a sweet card for today!

Are you sick of the Crate Paper Fourteen papers yet? Lol! I am using them so much lately and I think they are gorgeous!

I stamped and coloured my  little Pure Innocence Owl girlie, using the MFT Academy tutorial for colouring hair - I don't think it is dark enough though....next time.....

The Sheltering Tree Die-namics worked perfectly with my image and it makes a great "offset" to the Die-namics Button Border.   I threaded some black and brown twine through the Button Border and tied the double bow at the top.

The banner flags are from the Die-namics Mix and Match Banners! A little sewing and popping up things here and there - and onto the inside!

Thank for coming and visiting today!!

I Still Get Butterflies.....

Good Morning.......I can NOT sleep, so what better thing to do than post to the old blogeroo!

I used the MFT sketch 109 and decided that no colouring was in order for this certain card.

I love this sentiment!! and I still feel it when I see my hubby - I know -*gag.....Lol! But we have been married 32 years and it really is true with me.....It is from the Clearly Sentimental Line called You Make My Day!

Of course I tweaked the sketch a bit by adding flowers and pearls and butterflies down the side - the gorgeous roses are the Die-namics Royal Rose and the Die-namics Large Royal Rose cut in MFT Sweet Tooth Felt - just like butter I tell you!!

They are complimented with the MFT Leaf Filled Flourish using MFT Jellybean Green cardstock along with the Die-namics Butterflies cut in patterned paper and vellum.....

I die-cut a flag from the Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX and then another one to compliment it - and laid it right behind.....

The sentiment was stamped with MFT Razzle Berry ink......beautiful!  Of course I had to do a bit of sewing - I love the effect that sewing adds to a project!

 Thank for stopping by!

Loads of Fun!

Good morning! From Millan.Net Rainy Rainy day today - NOT a day to do laundry , which is good.....for me:)

I finally had the chance to ink up my MFT Loads of Fun Pure Innocence stamp set - she is so cute with her load of laundry!

I used this week's MFT sketch challenge - it was kind of a pain :).......lol!  You know how sometimes things just click? - well, this did not just click....

I used my new Crate Paper Fourteen papers and Kraft cardstock for my creation.

I stamped my image in Memento Tuxedo Black - perfect for copic markers!......and then coloured her in, using Michele Boyer's tutorial for colouring hair, in the MFT Academy.

I restamped, coloured, cut and popped up the apron a bit at the bottom to give her some flair - poor overworked girlie!

I used a few sets of Die-namics on this project -

Die-namics Postage Stamp STAX
Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon
Die-namics Oval STAX 2
Die-namics Rectangle STAX 1

It's Always Been You....

Good morning - what a lovely day it is here - a little colder than I would like....for April after all ....but any day that we wake up is a good day right? :)

I have a masculine lovey dovey card today - it follows along with today's Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoaststampers! The inspirational website this week is Windsor and this is the photo I chose to be inspired by.....

And this is the card I made....

I stamped one of the sentiments from My Favorite Things Lovey-Dovey Sentiments and die-cut it using the oval die from Die-namics Well Worn Greetings.

I also used Die-namics Chevron Stripes, and the Die-namics Leaf Filled Flourishes, along with some gems to finish it off!

That's it for today - I hope your's is wonderful!

Thank you!

Good Morning!!

I can't believe I am finally back from vacation - we travelled to the Sunny South - Punta Gorda, Florida to be exact- and stayed in a beautiful home for over a month - it had a pool and all of the amenities you could possibly imagine...

AND then we decided that we should purchase a mobile home and we DID!!

I am so excited and have crafty thoughts of transformation running through my brain!

But first let's have a little crafty goodness on the old blog okay? It's been so long.....

I actually made this card before I left with one of the newest Pure Innocence stamp sets - Pure Innocence around the World - The Netherlands to be exact!

I used the My Favorite Things sketch #110 along with a few Die-Namics......yes - I am addicted like bees are to flowers!

I stamped, coloured and trimmed my main little PI image and popped her up onto my sketch background!

The flowers are the Die-Namics Upsy Daisy with the Leaf Filled Flourish attached.

My papers are from Crate Paper - Fourteen - love these papers! Since they have a white core, I was able to cut my panels and then sand the edges so that it looks like it is layered!

Thanks for coming around to visit - I promise it won't be so long next time!
