Hey everyone! We are getting ready to pack up to head back to the cold north, but first I wanted to post my sketch card for MFT sketch challenge this week.
Following the sketch, I used Lisa Johnson's new "Words of Inspiration" set stamped in Pear Tart (Memento Ink)
I die cut the flower from the My Mind's Eye Happy Day paper pad using the Die-namics Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose die and added some leaves and flourishes with the Leaf Filled Flourish and the Die-namics Layered Leaves.
I staggered the leaves a bit for interest sake.
The background was stamped with the Typewriter Text Background in Blu Raspberry ink, and I die cut it using the new Blueprints 13 - I LOVE the stitched rectangle!!
Thanks for visiting today! Hubby went up to the clubhouse to donate blood and hasn't been back for a couple of hours - I guess I better go and try to find him - yikes!!

Hello….
Good sunny day - in Southern Florida anyway - another 80 degree and wonderfully hot day! Our days are coming to an end however, and soon we will be driving home to reality - another winter storm I heard, today - yuck!!
Well, I have some spring flowers for you today in this month's My Favorite Things Colour Palette Challenge and their sketch challenge!
This month's colours are Kraft, Grapesicle, Berrylicious and Sour Apple - or the closest colours you can get…..I am fortunate enough to have those colours in ink or card stock….so away I went!
I used Lisa Johnson's Peaceful Wildflowers and dies for my card, along with several other MFT items….in Florida, MFT happy mail arrives so quickly - I LOVE it!
For the background, I dry embossed the Stripes Stencil and then highlighted the stripes with Wink of Stella glitter!
Thanks for visiting - we are out the door to go golfing this morning at our course…..paradise really!
